Earlier in the day, Germany’s Foreign Minister Heiko Maas went into quarantine after a security staff member tested positive for the novel coronavirus. The European Commission’s Executive Vice-President Valdis Dombrovskis on Wednesday went into precautionary quarantine, after he learned that a person with whom he came into contact earlier this week, had tested positive for the novel Coronavirus. Maas’ first COVID-19 test came back negative, the German Foreign Ministry said in a statement. Michel tested negative on Monday and according to Belgian Coronavirus rules, he went into quarantine. During the meeting physical distancing was observed. “During the meeting physical distancing was observed.
